Here are my unsolicited tips for Living the Life You Can

  • Make your life exciting, or at least interesting, so you don’t get riled up about petty things.
  • Wash your sheets every two (2) weeks (weeks, not months).
  • Don’t take too many pictures of  landscapes.
  • Get a WaterPik, use it.
  • Throw things away.
  • Go to the beach when you can.
  • Travel alone.
  • Make and eat this pasta.
  • Don’t go to the same bar all of the time.
  • Embrace your vices.
  • Sail before steam.
  • Drink outdoors.
  • Take baths with Epsom salt.
  • Write a Buzzfeed-style list every now and then.
  • Pack lightly.
  • Buy mostly black clothes.
  • Use wax paper to make your shower curtain glide smoothly.
  • Bike!
  • Get a mattress topper.
  • Don't buy souvenirs for other people, just get one for yourself. That one should be a scent you wear on your journey. It will remind you of your trip.
  • "Life is tacky."
  • Cold-brew green tea.
  • Have the following friends: one who is a doctor, one who is a lawyer, one with a boat, one with a pool and one with a dog.
  • Non-iron fabrics are worth the money.
  • There is a lid for every pot.
  • Vodka flavored like candy is disgusting.
